OUR TRAINERS
LAURIE ANDRIEU
Laurie is a professional actress and improvisation teacher. A French expatriate in Belgium, she now works with several professional companies in Brussels and Wallonia: In Impro Veritas, La société qui pétille (engaged improvisation), Love etc. (show in English), La Compagnie de l'Esperluette (shows for young audiences), Confidences (improvised play), La Mélodie de l'Impro (sung show). She teaches improv theatre in different structures: in French with Impr'Os and Théâtre l'Improviste, in English with Impro Brussels, in Spanish with La Théâtral ASBL, and in a multilingual version with the Improvyglot project which she co-created in 2023 .
She has also collaborated with non-profit organizations for applied improvisation workshops: for teenagers who have dropped out of school with SEUIL asbl, for seniors with Orfeo asbl, in schools with Punch'art and for the beneficiaries of DoucheFlux. Laurie also gives improvisation workshops for Team Buildings or other events.
What drives her? Use improvisation as a vector for gaining confidence and opening up to others!
DAN GELBARD
Actor specialised in improv theatre, Dan is an Arts student at Cours Florent Brussels. He has participated in numerous shows and improvisation projects in Brussels and Wallonia since 2018: Match de l'Impr'Os, Compagnie Wilderness, shows by the company L'Esperluette, Confidences, Those three little words, A table!, etc. In 2023, he co-created the Improvyglot project where he teaches improvisation in a multilingual setting.
He also provides occasional workshops for experienced improvisation teams. Comfortable in both the non-profit and corporate environments, Dan also gives improvisation workshops for Team Buildings.
Dan is also a professional sound and lights director for improvisation theatre, notably for the Love Etc. company in English. His native language is French, and he is fluent in English, Dutch, and Spanish.
