About Atlas, impros du monde - Brussels
In 2017, the association Atlas, impros du monde was created in Bordeaux by a collective of international improvisers bringing together 14 different nationalities!

Their goal? To promote cultural diversity through improv theater, by highlighting the cultural and linguistic richness of the actors and audiences they meet.

For 7 years, Laurie Andrieu, a former resident of Bordeaux now based in Brussels, followed the adventures of Atlas, impros du monde and participated in some of their activities (workshops, shows, blog, remote projects). In 2023, she co-created with Dan Gelbard "Improvyglot", the first multilingual improvisation project in Brussels, with the support of the Brussels-Capital Region.

Given the success of Improvyglot, the enthusiasm of the participants, and the desire to go further, they decided in January 2024 to create Atlas, impros du monde – Brussels to continue the project of their friends from Bordeaux and to grow it! But above all, it's to continue exploring the tools of improv theatre applied to the promotion of interculturality in the territory of Brussels with its incredible linguistic, cultural, and social diversity.
Through the search for the other and oneself, by sharing the paths taken, by the crossing of dreams, theatrical improvisation aims to be a medium of encounters
